Moody River Estates

Moody River Estates is a seven phase, 1,000 unit single and multi-family development within Lee County. The project is located on Hancock Bridge Parkway just west of SR 41. The project includes five miles of roadway with associated water mains, gravity sewer, force mains, 5 lift stations and storm sewer. Additional aspects of the project include the protection of a bald eagle nest, improving existing boat basin including 80 new boat slips, a recreational complex, offsite turn lanes and utility extensions within County right-of-ways.

Heidt & Associates, Inc. provided full construction engineering and inspection services for the project which included preparation of bid documents, shop drawing review, pay request review, inspections, density test reviews, performance testing, record drawing preparation and certifications. The utilities were turned over to Lee County for ownership and maintenance at the completion of the project.
